There is a lot being said about this race, namely that all the drivers did well, considering the wet conditions in practice and qualifying. For me not one driver stood out as outstanding in any particular area, except for Ricciardo who won and was consistent throughout the race. I think his pace was exceptional, when you look at the his lap times.
There is controversy over Mercedes drivers Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg, because lewis and Nico had a collision. Its unthinkable to take out your team mate, but personally I think it was just a racing incident. Although I agree it could have been avoided, there were no other cars around when they had their coming together.
If blame is to be allocated, it should be down to the drivers equally, since they are out on the circuit together and the final decision lies with them as to where they should place their cars. Look at it this way, they were racing each other, wheel to wheel, which is what we want them to do isn't it? We all hate team orders don't we?
