Venue: Interlagos, Sao Paulo.

Lap length: 2.677 miles.

Race laps: 71.

1, Button, 2, Alonso, 3, Massa.

Sebastian Vettel is the World Champion.
The youngest Triple World Champion!
Only the third driver in history to take three titles in a row!
Others were Fangio and Schumacher!

Just been watching the BBC interview with Michael Schumacher, about his leaving the F1 sport after 21 years of great racing! Lewis Hamilton is effectively taking his place at McLaren.

There are quite a lot of drivers leaving the sport this year, and perhaps an F1 team too. I will hold off on commenting about those details until we have actual new and not just rumors.

Man of the race for this F1 fan, has to be Vettel for his come-back after his spin-out and returning to the front six through all that traffic! Secondly Button for some great overtaking.

Michael Schunacher was very pleased to see Vettel win the World Championship! He even moved over towards the end of the race to let the faster German pass him, not a usual Schumacher move!

Schumacher leaves F1, this was his last race and we will be sad to see him go. But, no-doubt he will still be back next year in some other consultancy role. It would be a real waste of his talents to disappear from F1 altogether. Too many rumors around at this time, even the great man himself, does not know what he will be doing.

Originally, when he left the sport the last time, he came back. I don't think he will come back this time as a driver, but perhaps even in an FIA role like Mansel et al.

I will try to keep up with the Schumacher story and report back here ASAP. Meanwhile, we are now looking forward to next season and it is also time for this F1 blog to be revamped for next year! So, you might not recognize the site when you return, but, its all change at the top! Here we go..
